Creatos Guide

Content Nodes

Import, write, and edit content in a single node type

Content nodes are the main building block in Creatos. They can act as both:

  • Input nodes (bring content into your flow)
  • Editable destination nodes (review and refine generated results)

Content Modes

ModeBest for
TextNotes, drafts, prompts, and pasted content
YouTubeVideo context and transcript text
Web PageImported article or page text
ImageScreenshots and visual references
PDFDocuments, reports, and long source files

Creating a Content Node

  1. Add a new Content node on the canvas
  2. Pick a mode
  3. Paste, upload, or import your content
  4. Give the node a clear title for variable references

Fastest Ways to Create One

You do not always need to start from the empty picker.

  • Paste plain text to create a text node quickly
  • Paste a YouTube URL to create a YouTube node
  • Use the flow import button for PDF, image, TXT, or MD files
  • Add saved material from the Content Library

YouTube transcript note

Creatos tries to fetch the transcript automatically. If YouTube blocks it, you can still paste the transcript into the node manually and keep working.

Using Content Nodes with AI

  1. Connect a content node to an AI node
  2. In prompts, insert the variable chip (for example {{Research Notes}})
  3. Run generation and iterate

Using Content Nodes as Final Editors

You can also use a content node as an editable downstream destination:

  1. Add a content node for your draft
  2. Connect AI output to it
  3. Edit, format, copy, or save from there

If you click Edit on an AI message, Creatos creates a dedicated Editor node instead.

Rich Editing and Export

Content nodes can be expanded into the full editor when you need more space.

From the expanded editor view, you can keep refining the text and export it in common formats such as:

  • Markdown
  • HTML
  • Plain text
  • PDF

Saving Reusable Content

When a content node is useful for future flows:

  1. Use Save to Library from the node toolbar
  2. Find it later in Dashboard -> Sources
  3. Reuse it in new flows without re-importing
